My books are aimed at families whose child was conceived through assisted reproductive technology. They are for those who have turned to a fertility clinic, as well as for those who have chosen alternative paths to family building through egg or sperm donation.
Using simple, clear language, the books describe how babies can be conceived naturally, but also with the help of IVF, ICSI, etc., or with donated egg or sperm cells. Through child-friendly language and loving illustrations, emotions such as hope, disappointment, joy, and gratitude are conveyed.
The parents' efforts to conceive their desired child are reinforced by the opportunity to personalize the book with their own entries and photos. Thus, the educational book for donor-conceived children becomes a long-term, personal companion.
